Mission Statement
In support of Randallstown High School’s (RHS) commitment to academic excellence, the mission of the RHS Library Media Program is to create a learning and information commons that serves as the catalyst for student achievement and lifelong learning. The RHS Library Media Program nurtures and fosters students’ love of reading, learning, and promotes the effective and ethical use of information and 21st century technologies by providing opportunities for learners to investigate their own interest as well as conduct academic research.
Library Vision Statement
The Randallstown High School Library Media Program aspires to help ALL students excel and reach their maximum potential. By providing a 21st Century teaching and learning environment that embeds 21st Century skills across all disciplines, the library media program adds a dimension of rigor to the RHS curriculum and encourages students to become participatory learners. Through collaboration, the Randallstown High School Library Media Specialist partners with the RHS learning community to maintain a current physical and virtual collection of resources that supports and enriches curriculum subjects and personal interests to empower students to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and responsible citizens.
